#Parenting Characters:
The 'Player' Parent
Even the parenting relationship is a duck and dodge game for you! You make promises to your kids that you don’t intend to keep; you always have a reason at the ready for everything that goes wrong. Your weekdays are taken up with work ( hmm..really ? ) and you often get home after meals or after bedtime. Weekends , well weekends are your time to play—with your friends, sports, and whatever else YOU want to do. When you do take the family out you disappear into the crowd and resurface some time later or you do a disappearing act every 30 minutes. Family holidays and outings are often a one parent affair, your partner has simply stopped postponing activities based on your many promises ‘to say no next time your boss asks you to work late! ‘’ Commitment, dedication and trustworthiness will often transform the slippery parent. Player’ parents (and players in general ! ) have the potential to be great in a relationship, only if they don’t spread themselves so thin !
